The 20 gauge stainless steel wine barrel has a steel thickness of 0.0359”, the thinnest steel barrel that Skolnik Industries makes. Due to their thin gauge, the 20 gauge steel wine drums have greater mobility and are lighter than the 16 gauge drum. Because Skolnik steel drums are made to prevent spills of any kind, from commercially used goods to hazardous materials, a 20 gauge steel wine barrel will insulate and secure packaged wine inside and outside of the winery.
