The 45 Imperial gallon steel drum (55 US gallon steel drum) can provide reliable and effective packaging while reducing risk during transportation of dangerous goods. The 45 Imperial gallon steel drums comply with all applicable DOT and UN regulations. These drum also have appropriate qualifications for international shipping. Convenient for shipments of combustibles, munitions, pharmaceuticals and a variety of chemicals, the Skolnik 45 Imperial gallon steel drum can be made with 20 to 16 gauge steel (0.9-1.5mm) and can be produced in both stainless steel and carbon steel. The steel drum can be fabricated with epoxy-phenolic linings, various plug configurations and nut/bolt or leverlock closure rings.
