The 55 gallon drum allows for easy transportation, storage and stacking, and has a wide variety of useful applications including as a Salvage Drum, Hazmat container, chemical steel drum, as well as in 7A steel drum applications. The 55 gallon steel drum is available in both open and closed head style, and can have the UN certified quick lever lock closure ring or the nut and bolt closure ring. This steel drum can meet most mil-spec standards, and is available in metal thickness ranging from 20 to 16 gauges (0.9 to 1.6mm).
