7A Type A Drums
Back to Product MenuThese drums have been tested according per 7A Type A regulations (IP 1, 2 and 3) and are intended for use as shipping and storage containers for permissible radioactive materials. Made of carbon or stainless steel, the drums are available in 5 to 110 gallon capacities. these drums have passed rigorous water spray, free drop, penetration and stacking tests. Skolnik has the ability to manufacture customer's custom designs in both carbon and 304, 316 and 409 stainless steel. Skolnik in-house test lab can also perform 7A Type A tests per customer's provided specifications.
Skolnik does not, and cannot, certify this packaging as a DOT 7A Type A package. It is the responsibility of the packager/shipper to certify that the package meets all the applicable requirements.
