One of the most common uses of Skolnik steel drums are their use in managing the safe transportation and disposal of hazardous waste materials. In the management and handling of hazards of spills and wastes, Skolnik steel drums are designed to contain allowable dangerous goods, and dispose of them in compliance with regulated waste-discarding programs and applicable regulations. Depending on the end use, Skolnik’s line of hazardous waste containers are available in carbon steel or stainless steel and in both salvage drum and open head styles. The Salvage Drum style has proven to be a dependable waste container made to recover packages containing hazardous substances that are damaged, leaking or non-compliant.
