Maple Syrup Drums

Skolnik Industries manufactures steel drums for maple syrup packaging and storage. To be as effective as possible when packaging, maple syrup packagers should always make sure that the maple syrup is hot because it will sterilize the container and prevent spoilage. Additionally, when the drum is properly sealed, a vacuum will be created during the cooling process, preventing contamination from air exposure. Stainless steel drums do not interfere with the taste of the syrup, nor do they change its composition when packaged properly. The drums can range from a volume of 5-110 gallons, and can have 20-16 gauge metal thickness.
