Skolnik Salvage Drums are specifically designed for the cleanup, packing, storage, transportation, and safe disposal of hazmat packagings that are damaged, leaking or non-compliant and could be harmful to the environment when proper safety measures are not taken into account. Skolnik Salvage Drums pass rigorous testing in accordance with 49 CFR 173.3. Salvage Drums come with a yellow exterior, a red cover and a red multilingual label (English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese) on the body of the drum. Skolnik Salvage drums, made of carbon or stainless steel, can come lined with an epoxy/phenolic inside coating, and can vary from 5-110 gallons and can be made in a variety of gauges ranging from 20-16 gauge (0.9-1.6mm).
