Dear Howard,

This is not just a customary ‘thank you’ note.

At the outset I would like to thank you for your time, efforts and interest in taking me through SKOLNIK. Though the travel was quite long, the stay was quite short and the engagements were quite packed, I felt every second that I spent in SKOLNIK was great learning experience.

When I came back to the hotel on Thursday after the SKOLNIK visit, I wondered and asked myself, whether I knew you only from September last or for a long time. I must tell you that you gave me a feeling as if we have known each other well for years. I find it difficult to put it in words my appreciation and feeling- especially -

• Your ability to overcome various challenges of starting years – arranging for the resources for the buyout, the collapse of the roof and the great fire;
• Your faith in providing quality products and creating a standing and status in the marketplace;
• Your innovative and highly efficient production line that could produce multiple types of drums;
• Your commitment to support the community and also the human side of SKOLNIK INDUSTRIES.

I thank God for making us known of each other and I am sure by the Grace of God our relationship will reach greater heights. I have enclosed some photographs that were taken which may be of interest to you.

I will certainly plan and come for the next DGIS and when it happens, I would like to stay at least a day more to go around Chicago to visit some of the landmarks referred in “CHICAGO THEN AND NOW”.
