Haz-mat Training Knows No Bounds

If your company is involved in the manufacture, packaging, transport, distribution, sales, or any aspect effecting hazardous materials, it is imperative that all employees have current knowledge of the federal hazmat transportation regulations. The regulations change, and keeping up to date is essential to remain in compliance. One-third of all DOT penalty actions relate to training and in some cases $100,000. fines have been issued. There have also been criminal penalties associated with more egregious violations and there are some claiming that violation of the regulations were causal to the injuries claimed by plaintiffs. The Dangerous Goods Advisory Council (DGAC) provides the latest information on hazmat transportation regulations and offers outstanding training programs for maintaining compliance with Federal law.
