If you have a certain requirement for the interior film thickness of your drum lining, don’t just ask for a single or double coat. It is best to specify the film thickness that you require. At Skolnik, the standard wet film application is 2.0–2.5 mils wet which yields a dry film thickness of 0.6–0.8 mils. This mil thickness is the industy standard and is recommended by most coating manufacturers.
