TRANSCAER is sponsoring a whistle stop tour in October ‘99 of a train that will carry state-of-the-art training equipment for hazardous materials emergency responders. The tour will provide hands-on training on rail tanks, tank trucks, and a gasoline truck. In addition, there will be demonstrations on hazardous material re-packing, a rollover simulator, emergency response vehicles, and some barge training. The train will stop in Wilmington, DE.; Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, PA.; Cleveland and Columbus, OH; and Charleston, WV.
