In previous Skolnik Newsletters, we have mentioned the need for drum users to follow the "Skolnik-Specific" Closure Instructions when closing a drum manufactured by Skolnik. Closure combinations vary from company to company and therefore, these instructions are not generic. Recently, DOT has also advised drum re-sellers, that it is the re-sellers responsibility to correctly match each drum type with the Closure Instruction of the specific manufacturer. Also, remember to use proper calibrated tools when effecting closure.
