Fritz Wybenga Receives Industry Safety Award

Due to his outstanding contributions to the safe transportation of hazardous materials, Fritz Wybenga has received the Industry Safety Achievement Award given by thirteen associations from the chemical, industrial, and fuel gases industries. As Deputy Associate Administrator for Hazardous Materials Safety for the US Department of Transportation, Fritz is involved in all aspects of operations of the Office of Hazardous Materials including domestic and international regulatory requirements, enforcement, data collection, analyses, outreach programs, exemptions, and approvals. Fritz also is the US representative and Vice-Chairman of the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods. We congratulate Fritz on the receipt of this distinguished Award, and for his ongoing efforts to promote and provide safe transportation of dangerous goods worldwide.
