Until recently, access into a wine barrel was restricted to the Tri-Clover body fitting or the 2″ plug in the top head. But now, Skolnik offers a complete line of Stainless Steel Wine Barrels that are available with removable covers. Designed to accommodate the use of oak staves and various inserts, our Type 304 stainless steel wine barrels are available in sizes ranging from 5 to 55 gallons and come with standard 2″ Tri-Clover fittings. The removable covers are secured by either a Bolt Ring Closure or with Skolnik‘s heavy duty Leverlock Ring Closure that provides for quick and repeatable access. Ideal for experimental batches and overages, these stainless steel wine barrels are designed for horizontal storage.
