The Reusable Industrial Packaging Association (RIPA) brings together packaging manufacturers and reconditioners that believe in, and sell, reusable packaging. Active with domestic and international regulatory agencies, RIPA has an active voice in the issues relating to packaging of hazardous and non-hazardous goods. In a recent move to widen the participation in packaging issues, RIPA has developed an Associate Membership status that is open to users of industrial packagings. For less than the cost of a flight to Washington, DC, just $350/year, companies can participate in the RIPA Annual, Technical and International meetings and receive all Association publications. With each meeting representing steel drums, plastic drums and intermediate bulk containers, Associate Membership puts users in front of the packaging suppliers and their immediate issues.
