As the annual season for harvesting grapes approaches quickly, Skolnik is prepared to capture every drop of wine produced with our line of stainless steel Wine Drums. The historic wooden barrel continues to give way to stainless drum alternatives and worldwide wine producers are finding that the stainless drums are readily available, less expensive then oak, very easy to clean and therefore, there are no flavor residues. In addition, the wine drums are fitted with a unique 2″ Tri-Clover ferrule located in the body-center of the drum. Wine producer‘s claim that when stored horizontally, the wine yield in stainless is greater, and more flavorful then they experienced with wood. All our drums fit into standard wine racks and are available in 5, 8, 10, 16, 20, 30 and 55 US Gallon capacities.
