Recently, Skolnik received good news regarding our facility’s environmental compliance record. On November 21, 2013, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District released a list of Dischargers Demonstrating Exemplary Compliance for 2012. Our manufacturing facility was one of the companies included on this list, for the third year in a row. The District noted that Skolnik demonstrated exemplary performance with regard to maintaining compliance with applicable Pretreatment Standards and Other Requirements. Also noted was that as an industrial user, Skolnik was not the subject of any enforcement actions taken by the District for noncompliance during the report period. The District commends Skolnik and all the industrial users for their efforts. This is an accomplishment for the environmental program that we have in place.
