When researching or buying containers for dangerous goods, knowing the regulatory links that define an ultimate packaging type can be difficult even for veteran CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) professionals. As a “boutique manufacturer” of these containers, the Skolnik staff keeps up to date on the whereabouts of regulatory requirements pertaining to our customer requests. This past June, our Sales, Customer Service, Quality and Manufacturing staff participated in a CFR Training update. As a customer of Skolnik, you cannot expect us to suggest what type of container is required for a compliant shipment of your product, but our staff is trained to help you navigate the CFR options, clarify the regulations and point to a direction that will yield a packaging solution. When shipping dangerous goods, container compliance is essential to avoiding risk and non-compliance fines.
